Snow Plows

Filters

A snow plow on your own truck, SUV or Jeep clears a driveway in minutes instead of an hour of shoveling or a seasonal contract. My Garage Supplies carries Meyer HomePlow and WingMan plows and DK2 SnowBear plows, from a $1,799 hitch-mounted plow to a $6,021 hydraulic WingMan, and every plow on this page ships free.

Which Snow Plow Do You Need?

Hitch-mounted plows ($1,799 to $6,021). These slide into a Class III, 2-inch front receiver hitch and roll away on their own wheels when the snow is done. The DK2 Avalanche universal plows come in 82, 84 and 88-inch blades and fit most light trucks and SUVs. The Meyer HomePlow uses Meyer's Quick-Link receiver mount, with electric-lift auto-angling models and full-hydraulic power-angle models in 6'8" and 7'6" widths. The Meyer WingMan is Meyer's plow-it-yourself plow for pickups and SUVs, with a hydraulic power unit and 6'8" or 7'6" blades. The front receiver hitch is not included with any hitch-mounted plow.

Vehicle-specific mount plows ($1,799 to $4,299, plus mount kit). DK2's Rampage II, Storm II and Summit II plows, and the fully hydraulic DK2 Everest, attach to brackets built for your exact vehicle instead of a receiver hitch. The DK2 mounting kit is sold separately and is chosen by make, model and year, so call us with your vehicle before you order one.

Snow Plows for Jeeps

Jeep owners have three routes. The Meyer 76000 Jeep HomePlow is a 6'8" hydraulic plow built for Jeeps; Meyer has discontinued it, and limited quantities remain. The Meyer Jeep WingMan is a 6'8" hydraulic plow for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK, 2018–2026 Wrangler JL and 2020–2026 Gladiator that mounts to a 2-inch front receiver; no front hitch is made for the Wrangler Rubicon 392 or the Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon. The DK2 vehicle-specific plows fit the Wrangler through DK2 mounting kits for 2009 to 2018 and 2018 to 2024 models.

Winch, Actuator or Hydraulic Lift?

Winch lift. Standard DK2 plows raise the blade with a 3,000 lb wireless electric winch, and you set the angle by hand to straight, left or right with a single lever.

Electric actuator. DK2 ELITE plows replace the winch with a sealed electric actuator that has a built-in clutch and draws less current, which is the better choice if you plow often. The Meyer 23250 and 24000 HomePlows also use an electric lift, with a blade that can angle on its own or be pinned straight, left or right.

Full hydraulic. Meyer's 26000 and 26500 HomePlows and the DK2 Everest raise, lower and angle the blade from the cab with a hydraulic power unit, and the WingMan plows are hydraulic as well. Choose hydraulic if you plow long drives, gravel lanes or a small lot and do not want to get out to change the angle.

What to Check Before You Buy

  • Mount. Hitch-mounted plows need a Class III, 2-inch front receiver on your vehicle. Vehicle-specific plows need the mounting kit for your make, model and year.
  • Blade width. As a rule of thumb, pick a blade wider than your vehicle's track so the tires drive on cleared ground when the blade is angled. An 82 to 84-inch blade suits most mid-size trucks and SUVs; an 88-inch or 7'6" blade suits full-size pickups.
  • Wiring. Winch and actuator plows run from the vehicle battery with a wireless remote. The Meyer WingMan also needs a 4-pin trailer wiring connector at the rear of the vehicle.
  • Surface. DK2 plows ship with a hardened steel cutting edge and skid shoes; the skid shoes keep the edge off gravel and pavers. Replacement edges, plow lights and other parts are in snow plow accessories.
  • Storage. DK2 plows and Meyer HomePlows detach in minutes and roll on their own wheels, so they live in the garage when they are not on the truck.

Snow Plow FAQ

Can I put a snow plow on an SUV or a half-ton pickup? Yes. The DK2 and Meyer plows on this page are personal plows designed for light trucks, SUVs and Jeeps rather than commercial plow trucks. Check that your vehicle can take a front receiver or has a DK2 mounting kit listed.

How much does a snow plow cost? On this page, hitch-mounted plows start at $1,799, DK2 vehicle-specific plows run $1,799 to $4,299 plus a mounting kit, Meyer HomePlows run $2,600 to $4,430, and Meyer WingMan plows run $5,768 to $6,021. Shipping is free on every plow.

Do I need a professional to install it? No. Hitch-mounted plows slide into the receiver, and DK2 vehicle mounting brackets bolt on without drilling or welding. Installing the front receiver hitch itself is a DIY job for most owners, or any hitch shop can fit one.

My Garage Supplies is an authorized dealer for Meyer and DK2, and our team checks plow fit against your vehicle before it ships. Call 307-381-1810 with your make, model and year; a five-minute call prevents ordering a plow your vehicle cannot mount.
