DK2 Snowplow Custom Mount Kit for Ford, GM, Ram and Jeep

A DK2 custom-mounted snowplow attaches to your truck through a pair of vehicle-specific mounting brackets that bolt to the frame and are joined by the plow's cross member. This listing covers 24 DK2 custom mount kits for Ford, GM, Dodge / Ram and Jeep vehicles. Choose your kit number in the selector; each option names the vehicles that kit fits.

The kit is the bracket set and its hardware. The cross member is not part of the kit. DK2's custom-mount snowplows include a cross member, and DK2's kit drawings are marked "cross bar not included in mount kit."

DK2 snowplows

DK2 requires a custom vehicle mount kit for its custom-mounted snowplows:

• Rampage II RAMP8219 and Rampage II Elite RAMP8219ELT
• Storm II STOR8422 and Storm II Elite STOR8422ELT
• Summit II SUMM8826 and Summit II Elite SUMM8826ELT
• Everest EVST9022

A hitch-mounted DK2 Avalanche snowplow can also be converted to a custom mount. DK2's conversion calls for a CRM3312 cross member plus the mount kit for your vehicle.

Kits that need the extended cross member

DK2's kit listings call for the 8891-EX extended cross member, sold separately, with kits 81519, 81522, 83016, 83017, 83019 and 84319.

The cross member is not included. Bracket shape and hardware differ by kit; DK2's example drawing notes that actual mount shape and size differ depending on the specific model.

Which kit fits my truck?

Find your vehicle, years and drive type in the fitment table, then confirm the kit number in DK2's mount guide. Some applications need an extra check. For example, 2007-2012 Silverado / Sierra 2500 trucks need a flat or curved frame confirmed (curved-frame 2012-2015 trucks use 83015), and 2001-2004 Denali / Escalade vehicles take kit 83008 or 83009, which DK2 confirms from a frame photo.

Is the cross member included?

No. The kit is the bracket set and hardware. Your DK2 custom-mount snowplow includes its cross member, and the 8891-EX extended cross member is sold separately for kits 81519, 81522, 83016, 83017, 83019 and 84319.

How does the kit install?

DK2's advice: loosely install the left and right mounting brackets first, then loosely install the cross member between them. Tighten the left and right brackets, then tighten the cross member. Some vehicles need non-essential parts removed first, such as a plastic air dam, bumper skirt or deflector plate; the notes column in the fitment table lists them by kit.
