I bought the lift for a home garage and to work on my own collection of vehicles and to be able to lift a full size pickup truck. Lift showed up as expected, was well packaged, minimal shipping damage which is to be expected when shipping something this size. (ie couple of scratches and scrape marks nothing serious).
The reason I give it 4 stars is because after using it for about a month the lift safety lock on the pump mount side stopped working and wont engage on the locks, makes me nervous sometimes on bigger vehicles. Then after having it installed I noticed the lift columns themselves have a twist in them slightly. It does not effect lifting or straightness of vehicle and does not hinder usage just an observation of quality is all.
All in all was worth the money, lift still functions to date with no hydraulic or serious failures outside lift safety latch. Just Not sure if that is a warranty item or not, would be interested if someone would reach out to me regarding the safety latch.
Took a bit to dial it in. Watching videos online helped. Previous colored instruction manual online is much better then the one that came with my lift.
If buying in the USA, note that the measurements are in metric. Also the recommended breaker is for European installation so you need to see what is compatible in your area.
This is my second review. My first one was due to my impatience of getting my system running. When we received the lift, it had been mislabeled but the correct lift was sent but it wouldn't work. It took about two days working with the company and the company's AI to get it in working order. Patience is key if there is an issue.
So far working good 1 year
Works great good product and great company to work with to get it will e doing more business with y’all love to have some stickers for my box
This lift is awesome. I use it at home and have lifted multiple vehicles to work on , it works perfectly!
The unit is incredibly well built. I am happy with my purchase. I wish they would have included the more comprehensive instructions or a link to the ones they have as a PDF.
Katool KT-X66 6600 lbs Portable Mid Rise Scissor Lift
The NOS9000 seems to be a great fit for my space. The enclosed post design makes me feel safe and comfortable during use. And the ability to move it around makes it versatile.
I made a good choice!
I've reported the new tire changer is broken and they won't respond. I wouldn't buy again from them. They are not accepting calls or voice messages. No way to reach them.
Took almost 2 weeks to get missing parts and the one they sent wasn't right and said the other part they didn't have we needed to find locally. The looks great but haven't had a chance to use because of missing parts.
Hydraulic hose should be longer.
The little plastic ducks or whatever they are called to keep from skinning up the rims won’t stay in place. Very annoying
Received the adaptors quickly. When i unwrapped them and went to install them i could not adjust them. I had to beat them apart with a sledge hammer due to when they were fabricated they were forced together. I had to remove the powder coating and some of the metal material to allow them to slide and be adjustable.
I bought two of the Katool 11,000 lb lifts and picked them up in Poole Georgia. Im glad I had a hydrolic flatbed trailer as they needed a crane to load these. I used roller Jack's to unload. MyGarage was great to work with as one lift was missing a safety catch bar and it arrived as I was assembling the other lift. I owned an 8,000 lb lift prior and thought it shouldn't be a problem putting these together alone. They are extremely heavy. The directions are terrible also. No mention of the plastic spacers that go on the bottom of safety bars, that it is quicker to insert the cables before bolting the platforms in so you don't have to take the pulleys out, and extending the hydrolic ram to give slack to bolt up cables. I used rachet straps and it worked perfectly. Outside of that, I took my time and used an AC hoist and a roll around jack as there was no way I was picking up those runways by myself. The first one was intimidating. No directions on the hydrolic fluid either but that was just pour in and run a few times to get the air out. Youtube explains the different types for your demographic. You'll need to get a 20amp 3 prong plug for them if you're going the 120 volt power. I found on Amazon for like 10 bucks. These lifts are extremely heavy duty lifts and outside the lack of directions, were an excellent purchase. I understand the reason for the high shipping cost due to the weight. Only complaint is the runways are not diamond plates as advertised and are smooth but not a deal breaker for me. Second lift went together much quicker. They support my Ram 3500 without an issue. Got them on Fathers day sale and cost less than an 8,000 lb lift. Again, MyGarage was great to work with and answered every email question I had. No, I have no affiliation with them and was not paid anything. Just a great purchase.
LIFT WAS JUST AS ORDERED,WORKS GREAT,SECOND ONE BOUGHT,WILL PURCHASE MORE IN THE FUTURE,THANKS
We still are waiting to use the tire machine and balancer one is missing pieces and the other has a broken piece.I have already sent the pictures and thought this was handled. But everytime I ask where the parts are I get the same questions over again?Ticket number , Order number? We were about to buy another Car lift, but are waiting to see if this resolved.?
Well constructed and engineered lift. Assembly was straight-forward and the instructions were generally clear. One thing not clear was the narrow vs. wide spacing. There are no dimensions given for the two different settings, left to the reader to figure out. I installed it narrow, but will be changing to wide to accommodate different cars. The drip tray rails are a PITA to install with the cheap self-tapping screws, really need to be drilled and tapped or provide better screws. Very nice to be able to walk under it - I'm 5'11 and no issues with hitting my head. Lift speed is just fine with the 110v pump. I would not use it to work on a car, but it's really a great solution for a storage lift with no posts in the way in the shop!
Was missing a couple fitting called them ,talk to Ron, in customer service,he sent message to Jon in warehouse, Jon emailed me asked what was missing. Got email from Jon within 15 minutes.Told him what was missing,he asked for photos of machine, and sent the missing parts right away, got then right away next day. Thanks Ron and Jon great service!!! Hugh
I have been using the lift about 3 times a week average. Mostly with a 3400 pound RZR. However, I have used it on QX80, 4 door Fronteir and my Ram 4x4 4 door and it hasn’t struggled a bit.
The plant seems to chip easily and a few little quirks but definitely worth the money.
Still a little scary under it. Not sure how good of an install it is, since the installer was clueless and it was his first one!
