Meyer Jeep WingMan 78320 6'8" Snow Plow for Wrangler JK, JL and Gladiator

The Meyer Jeep WingMan 78320 is a 6'8" full-trip snow plow built under license for select Jeep models. It slides into a Class 3, 2-inch front receiver hitch with Meyer's Quick-Link mount, and Meyer ships it as a complete assembly with a standard snow deflector and Nite Saber LED lights. Meyer describes it as commercial-grade plow construction and performance sized for driveways and other tight spaces.

Under the Jeep graphics, the blade carries the same Meyer specification as the standard Meyer WingMan 6'8" (28320): 14-gauge lightweight military-grade steel, eight vertical ribs, two trip springs, a 72-inch average width at full angle and 371 lb complete. The Jeep package adds the snow deflector as standard equipment, which keeps snow off the windshield.

Meyer backs the complete plow package and structural steel for two years, extended to five years total when you register the plow online within 60 days of purchase. The terms are under Warranty below.

• Quick-Link mounting system: the plow's mount bar slides into a Class 3, 2-inch front receiver hitch, so the plow attaches and detaches quickly.
• Integrated wheels: roll the plow into position for easy on and off, and park it on its wheels for storage.
• Pistol-grip controller with self-diagnostics: raise, lower and angle the blade from the cab. A monitor light flashes a code that points to the hydraulic-unit coil with a problem.
• Hands-Free Plowing and float: Meyer's WingMan controller can raise and lower the blade from the shift lever, lowering it in reverse and lifting it in drive in back-drag mode. Hold the down button and the blade floats to follow the surface.
• Commercial-grade hydraulic system: the hydraulic power unit raises, lowers, angles, holds and floats the moldboard through two 1-1/2" x 10" angling rams.
• Standard snow deflector: keeps plowed snow away from the windshield.
• Standard Nite Saber LED lights: plow-mounted lights for plowing after dark.
• Full-trip moldboard: two trip springs let the moldboard trip forward and ride over hidden obstructions, which protects the plow, the Jeep and the operator.
• Lightweight military-grade steel: less wear and tear on your Jeep and better fuel efficiency.

Meyer lists the Jeep WingMan for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK, the 2018–2026 Wrangler JL and the 2020–2026 Gladiator. It mounts through a Class 3, 2-inch front receiver hitch made for your Jeep, sold separately: Meyer mount FHK31432 (CURT 31432) for the Wrangler JK, except Jeeps with Hard Rock or 75th Anniversary bumpers, and FHK31086 (CURT 31086) for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator, except the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon, which have no matching front hitch.

Meyer's WingMan installation also calls for a 4-pin trailer wiring harness at the rear of the vehicle, a battery of at least 70 amp-hours and 550 cold cranking amps, and an alternator of at least 60 amps. Meyer requires the vehicle with the full plow system, driver, passengers and cargo to stay within the front and rear gross axle weight ratings and the gross vehicle weight rating on the driver's door label. Rear ballast may be needed to stay under the front axle rating.

Meyer's snow plow warranty, effective July 1, 2022, covers the complete snow plow package and structural steel for two years from the date of purchase. Register the plow online within 60 days of purchase and that coverage extends by three years, for five years total. Individual parts, components and accessories carry one year.

Coverage applies to the original purchaser and ends if the plow is sold or transferred. Meyer has confirmed to MGS that the WingMan can be installed by the end user; register the plow at meyerproducts.com/product-registration to get the five-year coverage. Paint and wear items such as pins, runners, cutting edges, springs and markers are excluded, and warranty work runs through Meyer's authorized distributor network. Which Jeep models does the Jeep WingMan fit?

Meyer lists it for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK (front hitch FHK31432, not with Hard Rock or 75th Anniversary bumpers) and for the 2018–2026 Wrangler JL and 2020–2026 Gladiator (front hitch FHK31086; not the Wrangler Rubicon 392 or the Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon). Every installation needs that Class 3, 2-inch front receiver hitch, sold separately. For any other Jeep, send us the model, year and trim before you order.

How is it different from the standard WingMan 6'8"?

Meyer lists the same blade specification for both: 6'8" by 22", 14-gauge steel, 72 inches wide at full angle and 371 lb complete. The Jeep WingMan adds a standard snow deflector and carries Jeep graphics under Meyer's license.

Is the plow too heavy for my Jeep?

The complete plow weighs 371 lb. Meyer requires the loaded vehicle, including the plow, to stay within the front and rear gross axle weight ratings on the driver's door label, and rear ballast may be needed to stay under the front rating. Check your Jeep's label before you order.

Can I plow a gravel driveway?

Meyer's manual sets the cutting edge 1/2 inch above the ground in plowing position and allows it higher on gravel. Meyer's WingMan snow shoes (part 08092, sold separately) fit all WingMan moldboards and set that scraping height.

How fast can I drive with the plow on?

Meyer's manual limits speed to 40 mph when transporting the plow and 20 mph while plowing snow.
