The Autel MaxiSYS IA1000 (Frame Package) is a next-generation automated ADAS calibration and wheel alignment system built around a single workflow: park the frame, hit "next," and let the robotics handle the rest. 5-way robotic forward-facing target positioning — front-to-back, vertical, horizontal, plus pitch, roll, and yaw — combines with laser-guided Blind Spot, ACC, NVS, BSD, and AVM pattern placement to remove the manual tape-measure-and-plumb-line work that older calibration frames still require. Six high-definition cameras (3072 × 2048 each) and precision-engineered wheel-clamp targets deliver 0.02° calibration accuracy, and automated unlevel floor compensation keeps that accuracy intact whether the bay floor is level, sloped for drainage, or on a rack.
This listing is the IA1000 Frame Package only. It includes the AUTEL-CSC1000 calibration frame and the accessory kit (steering wheel lock, brake pedal depressor, two wheel chocks, distance target, two AVM modules, four wheel-clamp targets). It does not include the MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet, the IA1000 activation card, the LDW physical target set, or the 27-inch digital target display monitors — each of those is sold separately, or you can step up to a bundled IA1000 variant below.
Eleven of the twenty-eight major automakers selling in North America — Ford, Volkswagen, Jeep, Kia, Dodge, and Subaru among them — already require an ADAS calibration following a wheel alignment, and the list grows every model year. Doing alignment on one machine and ADAS calibration on another means double the setup, double the cycle time, and a real chance of sending a car back out with the camera looking at the wrong reference. The IA1000 collapses alignment pre-check, full four-wheel alignment, and ADAS calibration into one frame and one tablet workflow.
Position the frame anywhere inside the green distance-and-offset tolerance on the tablet, press Next, and the IA1000 finishes the placement on its own. The robotics align the crossbar in three axes — front-to-back, vertical, and horizontal — then fine-tune the crossbar angle through pitch, roll, and yaw. Setup time drops, human error drops, and the first-time pass rate climbs.
Six positioning and tracking cameras map the vehicle and the optical frame placement, while automated laser guidance handles AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD pattern placement on the floor. The frame does the geometry; the technician confirms the result on the tablet. A digital Go/No-Go indicator confirms target placement and refuses to advance the workflow when an element is out of spec — calibrations either pass to OE specification or stop with an explicit reason.
Floor drainage slopes that defeat older calibration rigs are no longer a barrier. The IA1000 lets the technician select level floor, unlevel floor, or on a rack at the start of the procedure, and the system compensates for it through the calibration math — no need to relocate the vehicle to a flat bay.
The IA1000 surfaces the full alignment data set most aligners hide: thrust angle, steering axis inclination (SAI), included angle, toe-out on turns, setback, maximum steering angle, and ride height, along with the conventional camber, caster, and toe. That depth is the difference between an alignment and an alignment diagnosis — bent control arms, loose steering components, engine cradle misalignment, and frame damage all become visible from the alignment readings rather than after the customer comes back complaining.
Pre-scan and post-scan reports document every fault, every safety system on the vehicle, and every calibration performed against OE specifications. Validated target-position reporting documents the position of each ADAS target through the procedure, generating the paper trail collision shops, sublets, and insurance adjusters now expect to see before approving a payable repair.
The IA1000 product line spans eight pre-bundled configurations. This listing is the base IA1000 Frame Package; the bundles below add the MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet, activation card, LDW physical targets, and the 27-inch digital target monitors in different combinations:
The IA1000 is driven by the MaxiSys Ultra S2 — a 13.7-inch Android tablet with 512 GB of storage, a 6-in-1 vehicle communication and measurement device, and U.S., Asian, and European coverage for 1996-and-newer vehicles. Topology 3.0 system mapping, active module ping, special functions, and coding/adaptations are all part of the tablet's diagnostic feature set. The tablet is not included in the IA1000 Frame Package; pair this listing with a separately purchased Ultra S2 tablet and IA1000 activation card, or step up to the IA1000T bundle to get the tablet pre-bundled.
For late-model vehicles that require manufacturer-current software the shop doesn't have a subscription to, Autel Remote Expert and Guided ADAS provide on-demand access to OE software and trained technicians through the same tablet — useful for collision shops that occasionally see a vehicle outside their normal coverage and don't want to send the car to the dealer.
Vehicle coverage (via the MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet and IA1000 ADAS upgrade software): U.S., Asian, and European vehicles, 1996 and newer. Static calibration packages cover Lane Departure Warning targets and patterns for Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Audi, and Alfa Romeo. Rear Collision Warning and Around View Monitoring mats are available for Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Honda, General Motors, Toyota, and Mitsubishi. Available package add-ons extend coverage to radar, lidar, and night-vision calibrators.
Tablet compatibility: MaxiSys Ultra Tablet Series (the IA1000 Frame Package requires a separately purchased Ultra S2 tablet and IA1000 activation card).
Shop space requirements from the user manual:
Electrical: 100–264 V, 50/60 Hz, 360 W rated. Standard single-phase shop power.
The IA1000 Frame Package ships with:
Sold separately and required to operate the system: the MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet and the IA1000 wheel-alignment + ADAS activation card (P/N IA1000WAUP). The LDW physical target set, the 27-inch digital target display monitors (P/N MONITORDT), and the E-Target activation card (P/N ETARGETACT) for the 19 ESC digital targets are available add-ons. To skip the à-la-carte path, step up to a bundled IA1000 variant.

| The MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet, the IA1000 wheel-alignment + ADAS activation card, the LDW physical target set, and the 27-inch digital target display monitors are sold separately for this package. | |
The 27-inch digital target monitors (P/N MONITORDT) replace stacks of physical printed targets with on-screen target projection driven from the tablet. Self-adjusting screen brightness keeps target contrast accurate in mixed lighting, OTA updates push new target patterns as OEM coverage expands, and storage drops to a single panel instead of a target library. Add the monitors to this frame package separately, or step up to one of the IA1000 bundles that includes them.
The Autel IA1000 carries a 1-year limited warranty from Autel covering manufacturing defects under normal use. Warranty terms, claim procedures, and exclusions are detailed in section 9.1 of the User Manual linked below.
No. This package is the calibration frame and accessory kit only. The MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet and the IA1000 wheel-alignment + ADAS activation card (P/N IA1000WAUP) are sold separately and are both required to operate the system. If you want the tablet pre-bundled, the IA1000T configuration includes it; the IA1000LDWT, IA1000LDWTDT, IA1000AST, and IA1000ASTDT bundles include the tablet plus other add-ons.
No. The three-panel digital target display package (P/N MONITORDT plus the E-Target activation card P/N ETARGETACT for the 19 ESC digital targets) is sold separately for this frame package. The IA1000DT, IA1000TDT, IA1000LDWTDT, and IA1000ASTDT bundles ship with the digital targets included.
With the appropriate target packages and tablet software, the IA1000 supports Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Collision Warning, Around View Monitoring, Night Vision, and Head-Up Display calibrations, plus radar, lidar, and night-vision calibrators on the available add-on packages. Static and dynamic calibration coverage extends across U.S., Asian, and European vehicles.
0.02° from the six-camera plus precision-engineered wheel-clamp target array, per the supplier specification. Calibrations either reach OE specification with the Go/No-Go indicator confirming the result, or stop and flag the out-of-spec element rather than advancing through it.
For frame placement alone, the user manual specifies a clear, level area of 13.2 ft × 17.5 ft (4 m × 5.33 m). For a full wheel alignment plus ADAS calibration run with the vehicle in place, plan on 32.8 ft × 16.4 ft (10 m × 5 m). Ceiling clearance must be at least 9 ft 1 in. (109 in.) to raise the frame to maximum height.
The IA1000 ships via freight. Autel notes that "the purchase of an IA1000 system may include in-shop setup and onboarding training performed by an Autel ADAS expert" — availability and details vary by package and dealer. Contact MGS to confirm delivery, lift-gate, and on-site setup options before ordering.
This frame package is the bare system — frame, accessories, no tablet, no LDW targets. The IA1000LDWT adds the MaxiSys Ultra S2 tablet, activation card, and the LDW physical target set. The IA1000AST stacks the All Systems calibration equipment on top of that for shops needing the widest static-calibration coverage out of the box.
