The Autel IA1000LDWT brings four-wheel alignment, ADAS calibration, and advanced vehicle diagnostics into a single robotic frame and tablet workflow. Powered by the included MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet with MaxiFlash VCMI2, the system performs forward-facing ADAS target placement automatically, runs laser-guided floor-pattern positioning for AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD calibrations, and produces validated pre- and post-scan reports that document every calibration step for OEM and insurance compliance.
This LDWT package includes the physical Lane Departure Warning (LDW) target kit for static LDW calibrations alongside the standard accessory set. Digital target display monitors are an available upgrade path (sold separately) for shops that later move to the Digital Targets configuration.
The IA1000 sits in the green Distance and Offset tolerance zone, you press Next on the tablet, and the system handles vertical, horizontal, front-to-back, pitch, roll, yaw, and target spread on its own. Six high-definition cameras map the vehicle and the calibration field. Automated unlevel floor compensation keeps calibrations valid on shop floors with drainage slope, on a rack, or on level concrete.

Robotic actuators move the crossbar vertically and horizontally, slide the column front-to-back, and trim crossbar angle through pitch, roll, and yaw. LDW target spread is set robotically as well. The technician positions the frame inside the green Distance and Offset zone shown on the tablet, then steps back — the IA1000 finishes the geometry without manual cranking, leveling, or repositioning.

Six optical positioning and tracking cameras pair with precision-engineered wheel-clamp targets to map the vehicle and the frame's relative position to 0.02° accuracy. Laser guides project floor-pattern locations for AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD target placement — the tech follows the projected line instead of measuring twice with a tape.

The MaxiSYS Ultra S2 is a 13.7-inch Android touchscreen tablet with 512 GB of storage and the MaxiFlash VCMI2 6-in-1 vehicle communication and measurement device. Diagnostic coverage spans U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward, with active tests, special functions, coding and adaptations, Topology 3.0 OE-style system analysis, and active module / network ping for signal-quality testing. Remote Expert gives the shop on-demand access to OE software and qualified technicians for jobs that need OE-only tools.
The IA1000 reports the full alignment dataset — thrust angle, SAI, toe-out on turns, and the data needed to diagnose frame alignment, engine cradle alignment, bent or loose parts. Eleven of the twenty-eight major North American manufacturers (including Ford, Volkswagen, Jeep, Kia, Dodge, and Subaru) require ADAS calibration after wheel alignment; the IA1000 handles the pre-check, the alignment, and the calibration in one workflow.
Shop floors often slope toward drainage. The IA1000 lets the technician select level floor, unlevel floor, or on-a-rack and adjusts the calibration math accordingly — calibrations stay valid instead of failing or, worse, passing on bad geometry.
Pre-scan reports identify existing faults and list every safety and convenience system on the vehicle. Post-scan reports document the corrections, the OE-required calibrations performed, and the validated target positions for each calibration — the documentation insurers, sublets, and vehicle owners ask for after the fact. Calibration procedures themselves are OEM-sourced, with a Digital Go-No-Go check that blocks advancement when target placement is out of spec.
The LDWT package ships with physical LDW targets. Shops that want to move to 27" attachable digital target monitors — eliminating physical-target storage and adding self-adjusting screen brightness for varied lighting — can add them later (Autel part numbers MONITORDT and ETARGETACT, sold separately) or order the IA1000LDWTDT package up front.
The Ultra S2 receives over-the-air updates for vehicle coverage, calibration targets, and software features — OE coverage keeps current without re-imaging the tablet.
Vehicle coverage: U.S., Asian, and European vehicles, 1996 and newer, for four-wheel alignment and ADAS calibration. Static LDW target and pattern coverage explicitly includes Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Audi, and Alfa Romeo. Rear Collision Warning and Around View Monitoring mat coverage explicitly includes Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Honda, General Motors, Toyota, and Mitsubishi.
Tablet compatibility: the IA1000 activation card and software require the MaxiSYS Ultra Tablet series — the included Ultra S2 ships activated for this package.
Upgrade compatibility: the IA1000 frame is the same physical unit across every IA1000 package variant. Digital target monitors, the All Systems Calibration Equipment kit, and additional activation cards can be added later without replacing the frame.

Digital target monitors, the All Systems Calibration Equipment kit, replacement monitors (MONITORDT), and additional activation cards (IA1000WAUP, ETARGETACT) are sold separately.

One-year limited warranty on the IA1000 system. One year of MaxiSYS Ultra S2 software updates included; subsequent years renew via activation card (Autel part number IA1000WAUP).
No. The IA1000LDWT ships with the physical LDW target kit. The 27" attachable digital target monitors are part of the IA1000LDWTDT package or can be added later as Autel part MONITORDT with the ETARGETACT activation card.
Autel offers eight IA1000 package variants — frame-only (IA1000), frame + tablet (IA1000T), digital target packages (IA1000DT, IA1000TDT), LDW packages (IA1000LDWT, IA1000LDWTDT), and All Systems packages (IA1000AST, IA1000ASTDT). The LDWT bundles the frame, accessory kit, MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet, IA1000 activation card, and the physical LDW target kit. Each package shares the same frame, so you can upgrade later without replacing the unit.
The IA1000 measures alignment to 0.02° using six high-definition cameras and precision-engineered wheel-clamp targets. Accuracy is preserved across uneven shop floors via automated unlevel floor compensation.
Yes — the technician selects level floor, unlevel floor, or on-a-rack on the tablet, and the IA1000's automated unlevel floor compensation adjusts the calibration math so the result stays valid.
Yes. The MaxiSYS Ultra S2 is Autel's flagship advanced diagnostic tablet — it covers active tests, special functions, coding and adaptations, Topology 3.0 OE-style network analysis, active-module ping for signal-quality testing, and Remote Expert access to OE software and technicians for jobs that need them.
