The Autel IA1000LDWTDT is the LDW Digital Target package of Autel’s IA1000 automated ADAS calibration and 4-wheel alignment system, bundled with the MaxiSYS Ultra S2 advanced diagnostic tablet and three 27-inch digital LDW target monitors. It is built for collision centers, general repair shops, ADAS calibration centers, and dealerships that need ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and advanced diagnostics in one mobile frame and a single workflow.
Six high-definition cameras and precision-engineered wheel clamp targets deliver 0.02° alignment accuracy. Five-way robotic crossbar positioning (vertical, horizontal, pitch, roll, yaw) and laser-guided Blind Spot, ACC, NVS, and AVM pattern positioning automate the forward-facing target setup that traditionally consumes the most technician time. Automated unlevel-floor compensation lets the system calibrate on level floors, unlevel floors, or on a rack — eliminating the most common cause of failed ADAS calibrations.
The IA1000 column automatically aligns target placement (front-to-back, vertical, horizontal) and crossbar angles (pitch, roll, yaw), reducing setup time, lowering technician workload, and improving first-time calibration success. Position the frame inside the green Distance and Offset tolerance on the tablet, press Next, and the system completes the setup.
Six high-definition positioning and tracking cameras map the vehicle and the frame, while automated laser-guided AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD target placement establishes the floor pattern. Single-camera resolution is 3072 × 2048 pixels.
Auto-projected digital targets eliminate manual target selection for Lane Departure Warning calibrations. Self-adjusting screen brightness keeps the displayed pattern readable in mixed shop lighting. The three included monitors replace stacks of physical LDW target boards, and seamless OTA updates deliver new OEM-sourced target coverage as it ships from Autel.
The system is powered by the MaxiSYS Ultra S2 — a 13.7-inch touchscreen Android tablet with 512 GB of storage, paired with the MaxiFlash VCMI2 6-in-1 vehicle communication and measurement device. The Ultra S2 covers U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward with active tests, special functions, coding and adaptations, Topology 3.0 OE-style network analysis, and Active Module and Network Analysis for pinging ECUs and validating signal quality. The included IA1000 Activation Card and Digital Target Activation Card unlock the alignment and ADAS software on the tablet.
The IA1000 visualizes thrust angle, SAI, toe-out on turns, and additional measurement data alongside the standard camber, caster, and toe values, and supports diagnosis of frame alignment, engine cradle alignment, bent parts, and loose parts — the inputs that explain why a vehicle is out of spec rather than only confirming that it is.
Uneven shop floors, often a byproduct of drainage slopes, are a common cause of failed or unsafe ADAS calibrations. The IA1000 lets the technician select level floor, unlevel floor, or on a rack at the start of the calibration and adjusts accordingly.
Every calibration step is documented. Pre-scans identify existing faults and the full list of safety and convenience systems on the vehicle; post-scans confirm that faults were repaired and OE-required calibrations were performed to the manufacturer’s specifications. Digital Go-No-Go confirmation prevents the technician from advancing when an element is out of spec.
Remote Expert is Autel’s cloud-based service that connects the tablet to OE software and qualified technicians when an OE subscription is not available in the shop. Guided ADAS pairs the MaxiSYS tablet with a local laptop running an OE tool or subscription to handle late-model vehicles that need the most current OE coverage.
The IA1000 covers U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward. Autel’s static ADAS coverage includes Lane Departure Warning targets and patterns for Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Audi, and Alfa Romeo, plus Rear Collision Warning and Around View Monitoring mats for Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Honda, General Motors, Toyota, and Mitsubishi. Available calibration packages also include radar, lidar, and night vision calibrators. The IA1000 system is compatible with the MaxiSYS Ultra Tablet Series.

The system covers U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward for wheel alignment, with static and dynamic ADAS calibration coverage across the major Asian, European, and U.S. brands listed under Compatibility.
Yes. The system is designed so that alignment pre-checks, full four-wheel alignment, and ADAS calibration run in a single workflow on the same frame and tablet.
No. Unlevel Floor Compensation lets the technician select level floor, unlevel floor, or on-a-rack at the start of the procedure and adjusts the calibration accordingly.
The three 27-inch attachable monitors auto-project the OEM-specific Lane Departure Warning targets, replacing stacks of physical LDW target boards and the manual selection step that goes with them. Physical LDW targets are still included in this package.
For most calibrations covered by Autel’s OEM-sourced library, yes. For late-model vehicles that require current OE software or for repairs that need OE-validated pre and post scans, Remote Expert connects the MaxiSYS Ultra S2 to OE software and qualified technicians on demand, and Guided ADAS pairs the tablet with a local laptop running an OE tool.
