Description
-The Triumph NSS-8SQ — often called simply "The Classic" — is an 8,000-lb four-post lift built for the two jobs a working garage actually needs: parking a second vehicle overhead to reclaim floor space, and raising a car for routine service. It runs on a proven design that has been in the field for over 20 years, and this shorter-length version keeps the full 8,000-lb capacity in a tighter footprint for garages where every foot counts.
Two full-length runways carry the vehicle to a 72-inch lift height, leaving 69 inches of clearance under the runway so you can pull a car in underneath the one stored on top. Automatic safety locks engage at 10 positions as the lift rises, and a single-point lock release drops all four corners together when you lower. A full raise takes about 40 seconds, and the lift ships in the standard grey finish.
Power comes from a self-contained hydraulic power unit with a steel oil tank and a UL-listed plug, wired for a 110-volt supply. Because the NSS-8SQ is completely portable, the included four-wheel caster kit lets you roll the whole lift to a new spot in the garage instead of committing it to one bay for good.
For storage, three drip trays sit between the runways to catch anything that weeps from the vehicle up top before it can reach the car below. For service, a steel jack tray holds a bottle jack or floor jack so you can raise one end of the vehicle on the lift to pull wheels or work on brakes. Every NSS-8SQ is backed by a 1-year parts warranty.

FAQ
-Will my vehicle fit?
The runways are 132 inches long and 18 inches wide, set 37 inches apart, with a 93-inch drive-through width between the posts. Any vehicle within the 8,000-lb capacity and those dimensions will fit on the lift.
How much ceiling height do I need?
The lift's overall height is 84 inches on its own. When you park a vehicle on top, plan for the 72-inch lift height plus the height of the vehicle being stored, and measure your ceiling against that combined figure before ordering.
What electrical supply does it use?
The hydraulic power unit runs on a 110-volt supply and ships with a UL-listed plug.
Can I move the lift after it is set up?
Yes. The NSS-8SQ is designed to be portable — the included four-wheel caster kit lets you reposition it around the garage instead of fixing it to one spot.
What is the jack tray for?
The jack tray sits across the runways and holds a bottle jack or floor jack, so you can raise one end of the vehicle on the lift to pull wheels or service brakes.
Is a rolling bridge jack available?
Yes. The Triumph SJ-35 rolling bridge jack is sold separately and adds wheels-free lifting on the runways.
How does it ship, and will the driver unload it?
The lift ships on an LTL freight carrier and arrives on a 48-foot semi truck. The driver does not unload it, and lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts, so you will need equipment that can handle the full crated weight — a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe. If you cannot unload at your location, the lift can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or van. You are responsible for scheduling the delivery appointment with the freight company. For delivery questions before you order, contact MGS at sales@mygaragesupplies.com or 307-381-1810.
