Description
-The Triumph NTC-950-2 dual-arm tire changer and NTB-1200 wheel balancer combo pairs a high-volume rim-clamp changer with a computer balancer, so a shop can break down, mount, and balance most of the tires that roll through the bay from one setup. The NTC-950-2 adds dual pneumatic assist arms to the NTC-950 platform, holding and pressing the tire so wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires are worked without fighting the bead by hand.
Its bead blast system fires a concentrated burst of air into the sidewall to break and seat stubborn beads, and a side-mounted bead breaker delivers 5,500 lbs of breaking force. The turntable clamps rims from 16" to 28" on the inside and 14" to 26" on the outside, takes wheel widths up to 15", and handles tire diameters up to 43". A 1.5 HP motor drives it, up to a working pressure of 120 PSI.
The NTB-1200 computer wheel balancer covers the balancing side, from passenger wheels up to heavy truck wheels. It spins wheels from 10" to 28" with rim widths of 1.5" to 20", balances loads up to 350 lbs, and reads to an accuracy of ±1 gram on a 6-to-9-second cycle. An integrated wheel lift raises heavy truck assemblies onto the 42 mm shaft. Both machines run on 110V single-phase power and a shop compressed-air supply.
Each machine is also available on its own — the NTC-950-2 Tire Changer and the NTB-1200 Wheel Balancer are sold separately.
Features
-NTC-950-2 Tire Changer
- Dual pneumatic assist arms — hold and press the tire through mount and demount, so wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires come off and on without hand-fighting the bead.
- Bead blast system — a concentrated air burst into the sidewall helps break stubborn beads and seat and inflate the tire.
- Side-mounted bead breaker — 5,500 lbs of force to break beads on tough light-truck and truck tires.
- Rim-clamp turntable — clamps 16"–28" inside, 14"–26" outside, wheel widths to 15", tire diameters to 43".
- Complete tool set — steel and plastic mount/demount heads, plastic wheel-clamp covers, a soap tank with application brush, and a tire tool bar.
- 1.5 HP motor on 110V — standard single-phase shop power, no special service to install.
NTB-1200 Wheel Balancer
- Heavy-duty range — balances passenger wheels through large truck wheels, up to 350 lbs and a 51" tire diameter.
- Integrated wheel lift — raises heavy wheel assemblies onto the 42 mm shaft so one tech can load them.
- ±1 gram accuracy — a 6-to-9-second spin cycle with a standard or metric display.
- Protective safety hood — shields the operator and keeps debris off the balancer during the spin.
Compatibility
-The NTC-950-2 changer covers passenger cars and half-, three-quarter-, and one-ton trucks, plus load-range C, D, and E tires, 14"–24" wheels, 16.5" wheels, and run-flat wheels. Motorcycle wheels are supported with an additional adapter. It is not rated for box-truck, over-the-road-truck, 19.5", 21.5", or implement wheels.
The NTB-1200 balancer reaches further on the balancing side — it covers everything the changer does and adds box-truck, over-the-road-truck, 19.5", 21.5", and implement wheels, up to a 51" tire diameter and 350 lbs.

Warranty
-Triumph tire equipment is covered by a 1-year parts warranty — parts only, no labor. If something fails, a phone call handles it: you troubleshoot the problem over the phone, and the needed part ships to you free of charge by ground service. Labor to install the replacement is not covered; most of these repairs are straightforward for a shop tech.
Wear and consumable items are excluded. On the tire changer, that means the plastic protective pads and tooling on the clamps, heads, bead breakers, and assist arms, the single tire-inflation hose, and the lube brush and bucket. On the wheel balancer, it means the quick-release wing nut, wheel hood cover, top tray cover, and wheel weight hammer.
FAQ
-Does the NTB-1200 balancer enter wheel data automatically?
No. The NTB-1200 uses manual data entry — you set the distance, width, and diameter for each wheel. It reads to ±1 gram on a 6-to-9-second spin cycle with a standard or metric display.
Can the tire changer handle run-flat and low-profile tires?
Yes. The dual pneumatic assist arms hold the tire through mount and demount, and the bead blast system helps break and seat stubborn beads, so run-flat, low-profile, and wide-profile tires can be worked without fighting the bead by hand.
What power and air does the combo need?
Both machines run on 110V single-phase power, and both require a shop compressed-air supply. The tire changer operates up to a 120 PSI working pressure.
How does the combo ship?
It ships on an LTL common-carrier freight truck with lift-gate service, so the driver lowers the equipment to the ground at the back of the truck. The driver does not move it inside or assemble it, and you schedule the delivery appointment with the freight company directly.
