Description
-The Triumph NTB-1200 Electronic Truck Wheel Balancer is a heavy-duty spin balancer built to service everything from over-the-road truck wheels to passenger-car and light-truck rims on a single machine. It balances wheels from 10 to 28 inches in diameter, up to a 51-inch tire diameter, with rim widths from 1.5 to 20 inches and assemblies weighing up to 350 lbs — enough range to cover half-ton through one-ton trucks, box trucks, and over-the-road wheels without keeping a second, smaller balancer on the floor.
A gauge arm reads wheel distance and diameter automatically, so the operator sets fewer parameters before each spin. The 1/3 HP motor completes a balance cycle in about 8 seconds, and the electronic readout resolves imbalance to ±1 gram in standard mode (±10 grams for heavier counterweights). The display switches between standard and metric units, and a protective wheel hood cover ships with the machine to guard the operator and the balancer head.
Features
-- Truck-to-passenger range — balances 10- to 28-inch wheels up to 350 lbs, covering heavy truck, light truck, and passenger assemblies on one machine.
- Automatic distance and diameter measurement — the gauge arm reads wheel distance and diameter automatically; rim width is entered manually.
- 8-second balance cycle — a 1/3 HP motor spins and reads each wheel in about 8 seconds.
- ±1 gram resolution — electronic readout resolves imbalance to ±1 gram (±10 grams for heavier weights), in standard or metric units.
- Multiple balancing modes — standard dynamic, static, ALU 1–3, ALU-S, and OPT programs for a range of wheel types and weight-placement styles.
- Protective cover included — a wheel hood cover ships with the balancer.
Compatibility
-The NTB-1200 is rated across the full range of on-highway wheels: passenger cars, half-ton through one-ton trucks, box trucks, and over-the-road truck wheels, including Load Range C, D, and E tires. It balances 14- to 24-inch wheels, 16.5-, 19.5-, and 21.5-inch wheels, implement wheels, and run-flat wheels. Motorcycle wheels fall outside its range.

Wear items are not covered: the quick-release wing nut, wheel hood cover, top tray cover, and wheel-weight hammer.
FAQ
-Does the NTB-1200 measure the wheel automatically?
Distance and wheel diameter are measured automatically by the gauge arm. Rim width is entered manually — the machine does not use fully automatic data entry.
What power does it require?
The balancer runs on standard 110-volt power, so it plugs into a common shop or garage circuit rather than needing high-voltage three-phase service.
How does it ship?
The NTB-1200 ships freight on an LTL common carrier with lift-gate service — the driver lowers it to the ground at the rear of the truck. The driver does not move it inside or assemble it, so plan to move the 720-lb machine into position yourself. You schedule delivery directly with the freight carrier; if you prefer, it can be routed to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup.
Can I pair it with a tire changer?
Yes. The NTB-1200 pairs with Triumph's heavy-duty truck tire changers — the NTC-650 tire changer, the NTC-690 tire changer, and the NTC-950-2 tire changer — each also offered bundled with this balancer as a combo.
