Description
-The Triumph NTC-950-2 is a tire changer built for the throughput of a busy shop. Its dual pneumatic assist arms hold the bead and guide the tire through the mount and demount cycle, which takes the fight out of the wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires that resist a single-arm machine. A technician working alone gets a second and third set of hands on every difficult tire.
Bead setting is handled by built-in bead-blast technology — a concentrated burst of air fired into the sidewall that seats the bead and starts inflation on tires that won't take air with a standard chuck. A side-mounted bead breaker delivers 5,500 lbs of force to crack stubborn beads loose before the tire reaches the turntable. The machine runs on standard 110V shop power, and its turntable clamps wheels from 16 to 28 inches on the inside and 14 to 26 inches on the outside.
Features
-- Dual pneumatic assist arms — extra support for changing wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires without a second set of hands.
- Bead-blast technology — fires a powerful blast of air into the sidewall to set beads and start inflation.
- Side-mounted bead breaker — applies 5,500 lbs of force to break stubborn beads loose.
- Wide clamping range — 16–28" inside and 14–26" outside covers most passenger and light-truck wheels.
- High capacity — handles wheel widths up to 15" and tire diameters up to 43".
- 1.5 HP motor on 110V — runs on standard single-phase shop power.
Compatibility
-Per Triumph's tire-equipment fitment guide, the NTC-950-2 covers passenger cars and half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks across Load Range C, D, and E. It services 14"–24" and 16.5" wheels, sets run-flat tires, and handles motorcycle wheels with an additional adapter. It is not rated for box-truck, over-the-road, 19.5", 21.5", or implement wheels — those sizes call for a dedicated heavy-duty truck tire changer.

Warranty
-The NTC-950-2 is covered by a 1-year parts warranty (parts only, no labor). If something fails, you call Triumph, troubleshoot the problem over the phone, and the covered part ships to you free — both the part and ground shipping are at no charge. Labor to install the replacement is not covered.
Wear items are excluded: the plastic protective pads and tooling on the clamps, heads, bead breaker, and assist arms, plus the single tire-inflation hose, lube brush, and bucket.
FAQ
-What power and air supply does the NTC-950-2 need?
It runs on a standard 110V single-phase outlet. The assist arms, bead breaker, and bead-blast function are pneumatic, so the machine also needs a shop compressed-air supply; maximum operating pressure is 120 PSI.
Can it change run-flat tires?
Yes. The dual assist arms are designed for run-flat, low-profile, and wide-profile tires, and Triumph's fitment guide lists the NTC-950-2 as run-flat capable.
Does it handle motorcycle wheels?
Yes, with an additional adapter, per Triumph's fitment guide.
How does it ship, and what do I need to receive it?
It ships on an LTL common-carrier freight truck (a 48-foot semi) with lift-gate service, so the driver lowers it to the ground at the rear of the truck. The driver does not move it into your shop or assemble it. You schedule the delivery appointment directly with the freight carrier. If you would rather pick it up, it can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for collection with a trailer or van.
