Description
-The Triumph USA8000XLT is an 8,000-lb four-post lift built in the United States on a design that has been in service for more than 20 years. The XLT is the extended-length, taller version of the platform: 180-inch runways, a 222-inch overall length with the approach ramps in place, and an 83-inch lift height that gives you the room to stand and work under a raised vehicle or to park a second car beneath the first. If your shop or garage handles longer trucks and SUVs that run out of room on a standard four-post, this is the lift that fits them.
Lifting is handled by a single hydraulic power unit working through a cable-equalized four-cable system, so all four corners rise together and the deck stays level. As the runways climb, an automatic mechanical lock engages at any of 14 positions and holds the load on steel — the hydraulics only raise and lower, they never bear the parked weight. A single-point lock release drops all four latches together when you are ready to lower, and the lift cycles to full height in about 40 seconds.
For storage, the included three drip trays sit in the center channel between the runways and catch any fluid from the upper vehicle so it never reaches the car parked below. For service work, the jack tray accepts a bottle jack or floor jack so you can lift one end of the vehicle wheels-free while it sits on the lift. And because the whole lift rolls on the included caster kit, you can reposition it around the shop — anchoring to the floor is optional rather than required. The lift is finished in grey and black. One thing we state plainly: the lift is made in the USA, but the power unit is not.
Features
-- Made in the USA on a proven design with more than 20 years in the field
- 8,000-lb capacity for cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Extended geometry — 180-inch runways, 90-inch overall height, 83-inch lift height — for longer and taller vehicles
- Automatic mechanical safety locks with 14 locking positions
- Single-point lock release for level, simultaneous lowering
- Single hydraulic power unit with a cable-equalized lifting system
- Three drip trays protect a lower vehicle during stacked storage
- Jack tray accepts a bottle jack or floor jack for wheels-free service
- Caster kit makes the lift portable; floor anchoring is optional
- Drive-on aluminum approach ramps and rear wheel stops included
The power unit mounts to a column and can be installed on the front-left or rear-right corner to suit your garage layout. It runs on a standard 110V outlet, so most home and light-commercial shops can power the lift without adding a dedicated circuit.
Compatibility & Site Requirements
-The USA8000XLT is designed to lift cars, trucks, and SUVs up to its 8,000-lb rated capacity. Before ordering, confirm your site against the requirements below — they come from the installation manual.
- Concrete: a minimum of 4 inches of 3,500-psi steel-reinforced concrete with no more than 2 degrees of slope. Do not install on asphalt, wood, or any other surface.
- Electrical: a 110V outlet within reach of the power-unit column.
- Clearance: allow roughly 60 inches of clearance to the nearest wall so the safety-latch linkage rods can be installed, and keep the area free of overhead obstructions such as heaters, building supports, and electrical lines.
- Lowered height: the runways sit at 5 inches fully lowered and load over drive-on approach ramps.
What's Included
-- Caster kit for moving the lift around the garage

FAQ
-What vehicles will it hold?
Cars, trucks, and SUVs up to the 8,000-lb rated capacity. Always know the gross weight of the vehicle before lifting, and never use the lift to raise only one end or one side of a vehicle.
Does it have to be bolted to the floor?
No. The USA8000XLT is a free-standing lift and ships with a caster kit so it can be moved around the garage. Anchoring is optional. It still must sit on a minimum of 4 inches of 3,500-psi steel-reinforced concrete with no more than 2 degrees of slope.
What power does it need?
A standard 110V outlet. The power unit can be mounted on the front-left or rear-right column to match your garage layout.
How does the storage feature keep the lower vehicle clean?
Three drip trays sit in the center channel between the runways and catch fluid from the upper vehicle so it does not drip onto the car parked below.
How does it ship, and what do I need to receive it?
The lift ships on an LTL common-carrier freight truck (a 48-foot semi) at a shipping weight of about 1,800 lbs. You are responsible for unloading it — the driver does not unload it, and lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts, so you will need a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe on site. If you cannot unload from a truck, we can ship to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for you to pick up with a trailer or van — contact MGS at sales@mygaragesupplies.com or 307-381-1810 to arrange terminal delivery. You are responsible for calling the freight company to schedule your delivery appointment.
