On the changer, the turntable clamps wheels from 16" to 28" on the inside and 14" to 26" on the outside, handling wheel widths up to 15" and tire diameters up to 43". The balancer takes wheels from 10" to 28" in diameter, rim widths from 1.5" to 20", and tires up to 44" — a range that covers passenger cars and most light-truck wheels that roll into a general-service shop.
Two details set the NTB-800 apart on the floor. Its wheel brake holds the wheel still while you place the weights, so the reading you balanced to is the reading you keep.
