Description
-The Triumph NSS-8XLT is an 8,000-lb four-post lift built to do two jobs: everyday service work and long-term vehicle storage. Drive a car up the ramps, raise it in about 40 seconds, and either work underneath at full height or park a second vehicle below to reclaim a full bay. It runs on the same four-post design Triumph has shipped for more than 20 years.
Long runways and a 99-inch drive-thru clearance give full-size trucks and long-wheelbase vehicles room to load squarely, and the lift settles to a 5-inch lowered height so low cars clear the ramps. Ten automatic lock positions with a single-point lock release let you set a working height and step away with the load resting on mechanical locks rather than hydraulics.
Power comes from a 110-volt hydraulic power unit that plugs into standard household current on a dedicated 30-amp circuit — no 220V or three-phase service required. The unit mounts to a column at the drive-in end, with a manual lowering lever, a steel oil tank, and a UL-listed plug.
Features
-- 8,000-lb capacity across four posts for cars, trucks, and SUVs up to the rated weight.
- 10 automatic lock positions with a single-point lock release for hands-off holding at height.
- Storage and service in one lift — park a second vehicle underneath or work beneath a raised car.
- Caster kit included for repositioning the empty lift around the garage.
- Center jack tray holds a bottle or floor jack to raise one end for wheels-free work; the Triumph SJ-35 rolling bridge jack is a compatible add-on.
- Three drip trays keep fluids from an upper vehicle off the one parked below.
- Aluminum drive-on approach ramps — light enough to lift out by hand — plus a 5-inch lowered height for easy loading.
- 40-second lift time to an 82-inch lift height.

Warranty
-Triumph covers the NSS-8XLT with a 1-year parts warranty (parts only, no labor). If a covered part fails, Triumph troubleshoots by phone and ships the replacement part — part and ground shipping both free. Labor to install the replacement is not covered.
The hydraulic cylinders carry a 30-day full warranty; after 30 days, Triumph provides a seal kit. Rubber lifting pads are not covered.
FAQ
-What can the NSS-8XLT lift and store?
It carries up to 8,000 lbs on four posts. The 99-inch drive-thru clearance and 180-inch runways give full-size trucks and long-wheelbase vehicles room to load, and the 5-inch lowered height lets low cars clear the ramps.
How much ceiling height do I need?
The lift stands 94 inches tall on its own. For stacked storage, your ceiling has to clear the lower vehicle, the raised runways, and the vehicle stored on top — measure both vehicles before ordering. Clearance under the runways at full lift height is 79 inches.
What are the electrical requirements?
The power unit runs on standard 110-volt household current and needs a dedicated 30-amp circuit — no 220V or three-phase service. Do not run the lift from a generator; power surges can damage the motor.
Do I need to add hydraulic fluid?
Yes. Plan on approximately 3 gallons of AW32 hydraulic oil to fill the power unit during setup.
Is it really portable?
The included caster kit lets you roll the empty lift to reposition it in the garage. Do not move the lift with a vehicle on it — the casters are not rated to transport a loaded lift.
How does it ship, and what do I need to unload it?
The lift ships by LTL freight on a 48-foot semi and weighs about 1,800 lbs crated. The driver will not unload it, and liftgate service is not available for auto lifts, so you will need a forklift, tractor, Bobcat, tow truck, or similar equipment to take it off the truck. You are responsible for scheduling the delivery appointment with the freight carrier. If you cannot unload at your location, the lift can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup — contact MGS at sales@mygaragesupplies.com or 307-381-1810 to arrange it.
