The Triumph NTC-690 tire changer and NTB-1200 electronic wheel balancer combo is built for shops that service heavy commercial vehicles — trucks, buses, tractors, and other industrial equipment — while keeping passenger work on the same balancer. The pairing covers the full wheel-service workflow on the heavy side without giving up coverage on smaller wheels.

The NTC-690 heavy-duty tire changer clamps wheels from 14" to 56" and handles tire diameters up to 90". A robotic arm carries the bead-breaking and mounting load, and a wireless remote control lets the operator stand clear of the wheel during the sequence. Maximum working pressure is 120 PSI, and the machine runs on 220-volt service. Bead blast is not included on this configuration.

The NTB-1200 electronic truck wheel balancer spans 10" to 28" wheels with rim widths from 1.5" to 20" and tires up to 51". The 8-second cycle keeps the bay moving, with ±1 gram accuracy in standard mode (±10 grams on heavier weights). Automatic distance and wheel diameter measurement runs on every cycle; the operator handles the parameter entry. Maximum wheel weight is 350 lb, the shaft is 42 mm, and the unit runs on standard 110-volt service.

Both units ship LTL freight with lift-gate service per Triumph. Combined ship weight is around 3,120 lb across two pallets.

Will the NTB-1200 balance both my truck wheels and my passenger wheels?

Yes. The NTB-1200 covers 10"–28" wheels, and the control panel includes a dedicated Car/Truck mode key so the same machine handles both.

What’s the electrical requirement for the combo?

The NTC-690 tire changer runs on 220-volt single-phase service. The NTB-1200 balancer runs on standard 110-volt service. Both units need separate outlets — confirm shop wiring before delivery.

How does the combo ship, and will the freight driver unload it?

Both units ship LTL freight on a 48-foot semi with lift-gate service per Triumph. The driver lowers each pallet to the ground at the back of the truck; the driver does not move equipment inside the shop and does not assemble it. Given the NTC-690’s 2,400-lb ship weight.

Does the NTC-690 include bead blast?

No. Bead blast is not part of this configuration — the NTC-690 uses its robotic arm and clamping system to seat the bead during the mounting cycle.
