Description
-The Triumph NTC-950 and NTB-550 combo pairs a swing-arm tire changer with a computer wheel balancer so you can outfit a complete car-and-light-truck wheel-service bay in one purchase. Both machines run on standard 110V single-phase power, so most shops and home garages can plug them in without an electrical upgrade. The NTC-950 clamps rims to 26 inches on the outside and breaks beads with 5,500 lbs of force; the NTB-550 balances wheels from 10 to 28 inches to ±1 gram.
Together they handle the daily workload of a startup tire shop, a busy independent garage, or a serious home shop — mounting, demounting, and balancing passenger-car and light-truck tires in-house instead of sending wheels out.
Each machine is also sold on its own if you only need one. The NTC-950 tire changer and the NTB-550 wheel balancer are both available separately.

Compatibility
-The NTC-950 and NTB-550 are built for passenger cars and light trucks. The fitment guide below maps the full Triumph tire-equipment line against vehicle and wheel types — read the NTC-950 and NTB-550 columns for this combo. Both machines cover passenger cars, half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks, Load Range C, D, and E tires, and 14- to 24-inch and 16.5-inch wheels. The NTB-550 also balances run-flat wheels, with a 75-lb total-weight limit on heavier load-range, large, and run-flat wheels. Motorcycle wheels require an additional adapter on both machines. Neither machine is rated for box trucks, over-the-road trucks, or 19.5- and 21.5-inch wheels.

Warranty
-Triumph tire equipment carries a 1-year parts warranty, parts only with no labor. If a covered part fails, you call MGS, we troubleshoot the problem by phone, and we ship the needed part free of charge by ground service — the part and the shipping are both covered. Labor to install the replacement part is not covered, though most replacements are straightforward for a mechanic to handle.
The warranty does not cover wear and consumable items. On the tire changer, that excludes the plastic protective pads and tooling on the clamps, heads, bead breakers, and assist arms, the single tire-inflation hose, and the lube brush and bucket. On the wheel balancer, it excludes the quick-release wing nut, wheel hood cover, top tray cover, and wheel-weight hammer.
FAQ
-How does the combo ship, and who unloads it?
It ships freight on an LTL common carrier (a 48-foot semi). Tire equipment ships with lift-gate service, so the driver lowers each machine to the ground at the rear of the truck. The driver does not move the equipment inside your shop or assemble it, so plan to move it into place yourself. If you prefer to pick it up, MGS can ship to the carrier's nearest freight terminal. You schedule the delivery appointment directly with the freight company.
Can I buy just the tire changer or just the balancer?
Yes. The NTC-950 and NTB-550 are each available separately if you only need one machine.
Does the balancer enter wheel measurements automatically?
No. The NTB-550 uses manual data entry — you key in the wheel measurements before each balance. The foot-pedal brake holds the wheel steady so weight placement stays accurate.
