Description
-The Triumph NT-16 is a 16,000-lb floor-plate two-post auto lift built for full-time shop use on full-size trucks, vans, and heavy SUVs. The columns connect at the floor with a low-profile drive-over plate, so there is no overhead bar to drop ceiling clearance — useful in shops with bays under nine feet of headroom where an overhead-bar lift would not fit.
Lifting is handled by dual hydraulic chain-assist cylinders built to ANSI standards with NOK oil seals, paired with self-lubricating UHMW polyethylene sliders and bronze bushings on the carriage. Four symmetric arms swing under the vehicle on telescoping inner and outer sections, finished with rubber lift pads and a stackable adapter set in 1.5-inch, 3-inch, and 6-inch heights for trucks and SUVs that need extra reach. A single-point safety release with dual safety design holds the lift on lock, and an electrical override automatic safety shut-off cuts power if the carriage hits an out-of-range condition.
The NT-16 lifts from a 7-inch lowered height to a maximum lifting height of 72 inches in 40 seconds, on a 220V AC single-phase circuit driving a 3 HP motor. Both ISO 9001 manufacturing and CE conformity are stated by the supplier. The lift ships freight with truck adapters and mounting hardware included; the standard 1-year parts warranty applies.

FAQ
-Will the NT-16 fit in a shop with a low ceiling?
The lift itself measures 120 inches (10 feet) at its overall height, and the floor-plate design has no overhead bar above the columns. The ceiling needs to clear the columns plus the height of the tallest vehicle being raised to the working position — plan ceiling height accordingly.
Symmetric or asymmetric arms?
Symmetric. All four arms are the same length, and the columns face each other directly. This puts the vehicle centered between the columns rather than offset toward the driver-side door, which is the asymmetric pattern.
What electrical service is required?
The 3 HP power unit runs on 220V AC, single-phase. The manual lists a 30-amp breaker and minimum 10-gauge wire as the recommended electrical service. Confirm your shop has a dedicated 220V single-phase circuit available before ordering.
Is professional installation required?
Triumph provides the mounting hardware and a product manual covering layout, anchor-bolt installation, hydraulic hook-up, cable adjustment, and test run. Many shop owners install in-house with a helper; installation by a third-party contractor is also common. MGS does not include installation in the base price.
How is the lift delivered?
The NT-16 ships freight on an LTL common carrier on a 48-foot semi truck. You are responsible for unloading the lift from the truck — the driver will not unload it for you, and lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts. Plan for a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe at the receiving location. If you cannot unload at your location, MGS can ship to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van. You are responsible for scheduling the delivery appointment with the freight company.
