The EMAX Industrial 7.5 HP 80-gallon two-stage air compressor (ESS07V080Z1) is built for auto shops, fleet bays, and serious home garages that run air tools all day and want the noise kept down. It pairs a three-cylinder, two-stage pump with a vertical 80-gallon ASME-certified tank, delivers 35 CFM at up to 175 PSI, and runs on 230V single-phase power.

What sets this unit apart is the patented Silent Air™ noise-suppression system. A side-mounted silencer with noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity intake filtration targets the loudest part of a compressor — the air intake — and brings operating noise to at or below normal conversational volume. Unlike a full enclosure cabinet, the silencer keeps the pump, belts, and fittings reachable for routine service.

The two-stage pump uses a splash-lubrication system: rod dippers carry oil up from the crankcase onto the cylinders, pistons, and bearings on every stroke. Power reaches the pump through a multi-belt V-belt drive built with wider B- and C-width belts instead of a single narrow belt, spreading the load across more surface area, lowering belt tension, and reducing vibration for longer belt and bearing life.

Every unit ships with a magnetic motor starter and vibration isolator pads. The WEG open-drip-proof motor, ETL-certified electrical, and ASME tank with a matching CRN registration make it ready to drop into a commercial shop, backed by a 1-year standard warranty that extends to 5 years — plus a limited lifetime pump warranty — through the EMAX SMART Oil™ maintenance program.

Registering the compressor and maintaining it on the EMAX SMART Oil™ program extends coverage to a full 5-year warranty and adds a non-prorated limited lifetime warranty on the pump, for as long as you stay enrolled in the auto-ship maintenance program and follow the published oil-change schedule.

Use only EMAX-approved oil and filters to keep coverage valid. The first oil change is due within the initial 70 hours of run time, then every 1,000 hours or six months thereafter.
