Description

The SnowBear SS223 is a hitch-mounted salt spreader that holds five 50 lb bags and spreads ice melt or rock salt up to 25 ft. It installs in a 2-inch receiver and is designed to fit SUVs, UTVs and trucks. SnowBear and DK2 are both brands of Marlon Recreational Products.

A 12V DC direct-drive motor runs the spinner and auger with few moving parts. Power comes from your vehicle's existing 4-pin trailer connector, and a wireless key-fob remote starts and stops spreading from the cab with no additional wiring.

The hopper and lid are high-density polyethylene, built to resist impact, corrosion and harsh conditions, and the mounting height adjusts so you can set the spreader for coverage.
