The Auxx-Lift Motorized Garage Storage Platform turns the empty space above your head into usable storage. At the press of a remote button it lowers all the way to the floor so you can load it standing up, then lifts the loaded platform back to the ceiling — no ladder, no overhead reaching, no asking a second person to spot you.
It is built for real garage loads: choose a platform rated for 400, 600, or 800 lb, in sizes from 3×6 up to 4×8 ft, finished to match your garage. Two synchronized tubular motors raise and lower the deck on 7×19 vinyl-coated steel aircraft cable, and a differential, self-leveling control system keeps the platform level even when the weight on it is not evenly spread.
The Auxx-Lift is assembled in the USA in Moorpark, California, runs on a standard 110–120V household outlet, and is the only lift in this category the manufacturer has tested to UL standards, with a minimum 4× factor of safety on its load-bearing components. The motor-controller design is protected under US Patent 9,572,427 B2, and more than 20,000 Auxx-Lifts have been sold.
Every platform is backed by a 2-year warranty and a 60-day money-back guarantee, so you can install it, load it, and live with it before you commit.
The Auxx-Lift is configured along three choices. Match them to your garage, your ceiling height, and what you plan to store.
The 400 lb and 600 lb models come in 3×6, 3×8, 4×6, and 4×8 ft. The 800 lb model is built in the 4×4 ft platform. A 4×8 platform gives you up to 32 sq ft of overhead storage area.
Available in Silver Gray, Pearl White, Stainless Steel, and Onyx Black. Stainless Steel and Onyx Black are not offered in every size, and the 800 lb (4×4) platform ships in Silver Gray.
Raise and lower the platform from a safe distance with the included wireless remote (433.92 MHz). Three controls are built into how it operates:
Differential motor technology continuously adjusts the two motors to keep the deck close to level even when the load is heavier on one side. The controller monitors the weight on the platform and stops travel if it senses a problem.
The manufacturer reports that the Auxx-Lift is the only lift in its class tested to the highest UL-standard requirements, with every load-bearing component carrying a minimum 4× factor of safety.
The deck is built from 15-gauge steel C-channels, 2.5 in thick, with a 3" × 3" galvanized wire-mesh surface. The platform itself weighs 128 lb before you load anything onto it.
Installation is similar to fitting an automatic garage-door opener: you locate the ceiling joists, mount two strut channels perpendicular to them, then attach the motors, controller, and platform. It uses eight 5/16" × 4" SPAX lag bolts into the structure, and most professional installers complete it in about two hours. The mounting footprint is roughly 5 ft × 5 ft and spans at least three joists for redundancy; an additional hardware kit lets you rotate the lift 90° to run parallel with your joists when needed.
If any step is unclear, the manufacturer provides installation videos and phone support that can walk you through the process by video call.

The Auxx-Lift carries a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in material and workmanship under normal household use in accordance with the owner's manual. If a covered part is defective, the manufacturer will supply replacement parts or replace the product after the defective unit is returned.
The warranty does not cover commercial use, improper installation, accidents, misuse, modification, corrosion, power outages, use of extension cords, or normal wear, and the purchaser pays return shipping on warranty replacements. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required for warranty service.
Yes. The installation is similar to mounting an automatic garage-door opener: you work overhead to locate the ceiling joists, mount two strut channels to the ceiling supports, then add the motors and platform. Most professional installers finish in about two hours. If you would rather not do it yourself, a handyman or contractor can handle it.
Two strut channels are installed perpendicular to the ceiling joists and bolted into at least three joists for redundancy (you can extend the struts to catch a fourth or fifth joist). The motors and platform then attach to the struts. You want to hit the joists, but there is flexibility in exactly where the lift lands so you can work around ducts, shelves, or a washer and dryer.
When empty, the platform retracts to within a few inches of the ceiling. With tall storage bins on board, the loaded height hangs lower — for example, 15 in bins plus the platform depth sit roughly 19 in below the ceiling.
The platform travels up to 13 ft 6 in as standard, and up to 18 ft with the optional cable extension, so it lowers all the way to the floor in tall garages as well as standard ones.
A wrench set (13/32", 7/16", 23/32"), flathead and #1 Phillips screwdrivers, Allen wrenches (3/16", 3/32"), a level, tape measure, pencil, drill with a 7/16" socket and 1/8", 3/16", and 9/32" bits, and a stud finder.
The Auxx-Lift is covered by a 2-year warranty on defects in material and workmanship for normal household use. It also comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee; returns must be unopened, unused, and in original condition, are subject to a restocking fee, and require the customer to pay return shipping (custom-made products are final sale).
