Autel MaxiSYS MS909 S2 Advanced Diagnostic Tablet with ADAS Calibration Software and MaxiFlash VCI2

The Autel MaxiSYS MS909 S2 is an 11-inch wireless diagnostic tablet that ships with ADAS calibration software pre-installed, so dynamic and static calibrations of cameras, radar, lidar, and night vision systems run from the same tablet a shop already uses for full-system diagnostics. Static calibrations of those sensors require the appropriate physical targets and calibrators, which Autel sells as separate package options.

Vehicle coverage spans U.S., Asian, and European platforms from 1996 onward, with OE-level all-systems diagnostics, pre- and post-scan reporting, bi-directional testing, hidden and special functions, coding, and adaptations. Topology 3.0 dynamic network analysis maps each vehicle's communication networks visually, then lets the tech ping and monitor individual module communications across CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, and the legacy protocols listed below. Enhanced Live Data analysis adds Live Data Fusion, Reference Sampling, and Parameter Graphing for real-time PID work.

The S2 generation upgrades the original MS909 platform with a 2.7 GHz 8-core processor, Android 13, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB on-board storage, and Wi-Fi 6.0 with 2x2 MIMO. The included MaxiFlash VCI2 is a wireless vehicle communication interface with multi-protocol support and J2534 pass-thru programming.

The tablet also ships with one year of free access to MOTOR TruSpeed integrated repair information, the MAX multi-point digital vehicle inspection application, and a hands-free tablet navigation assistant. Remote Expert support is built in — connect with a programming expert running OE tools and software remotely when the job calls for it.

No. ADAS calibration software ships pre-installed on this MS909 S2 package. The complementary hardware — physical targets and calibrators for static ADAS calibrations — is purchased separately, and Autel offers several package options.

Which vehicles support security-gateway access?

The MS909 S2 is authorized by Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, VW/Audi, and Stellantis to access security gateways on their newer vehicles. An AutoAuth account is required for all four. VW/Audi additionally requires on-tool token or subscription purchase.

Can I add a borescope or battery tester later?

Yes. Autel sells upgrade-accessory options that connect to the same MaxiSYS interface — the MV108S or MV105S video borescope, and the BT506 battery tester. None are bundled with the base MS909 S2 ADAS package on this page.

What's the difference between this tablet and a full ADAS calibration system?

The standalone MS909 S2 ADAS package on this page includes the tablet, MaxiFlash VCI2, cables, and ADAS calibration software. Running static ADAS calibrations also requires a physical calibration frame and target set, which Autel sells as larger system packages.
