Description

-

The Autel MA600 is the standalone MaxiSYS ADAS mobile calibration frame — a collapsible aluminum column built around laser-assisted leveling, with the LDW (Lane Departure Warning) calibration target set included for use across a wide range of vehicle camera systems. The frame, lasers, plumb line, L-shaped positioning bracket, and LDW targets ship together in a travel case so a single technician can roll into a glass shop, mobile-service driveway, or independent garage and complete camera calibrations without a fixed bay.

This listing is for the MA600 frame system only. A compatible MaxiSYS tablet is required to run the calibration software and is not included — the MA600 pairs with the MaxiSYS MSADAS tablet directly, or with the MS906BT, MS906TS, MS908, MS908P, MS908S, MS908SP, or MSELITE tablet series after a one-time ADAS software application upgrade is purchased separately.

Every MA600 purchase includes virtual setup and onboarding training delivered remotely by an Autel ADAS expert. In-shop training is not part of this package.

Features

-

Portable collapsible aluminum frame

The MA600 column, crossbar, and base break down for transport and reassemble without tools, so the same frame travels between calibration jobs instead of staying tied to a single bay. The total net weight is 100.8 lb split between two shipping cases (base 53.6 lb, main column + crossbar 47.2 lb), which keeps each half manageable for one technician to load and carry.

Two-line and five-line lasers for vehicle centering and squaring

The MA600 ships with both a two-line laser and a five-line laser for centering and aligning the calibration frame relative to the vehicle. A plumb line and laser-assisted reflector are included to support the leveling process at the wheel arches and along the vehicle centerline, giving the technician a quicker frame-to-vehicle squaring routine than tape-and-string methods.

Fine-adjustment height control with bubble levels on the crossbar

The crossbar adjusts in height through a hand crank with fine-tuning knobs, and two bubble levels on the upper bracket give the technician a visual confirmation of horizontal level before locking the bar in place. Crossbar height adjusts between 350 mm (13.78") and 950 mm (37.40"); the pattern board mounts from 1000 mm (39.37") to 1600 mm (62.99").

Adjustable: hand-crank height control with bubble-level confirmation.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) calibration target set included

The MA600 ships with the LDW target set used to calibrate forward-facing windshield cameras across numerous vehicle manufacturers. LDW warns the driver when the vehicle drifts out of a lane on the freeway, and is designed to reduce collisions caused by driver inattention, distraction, and drowsiness — recalibration is required after windshield replacement, accident repair, suspension work, or any service that disturbs the camera's aim.

Compatibility

-

The MA600 frame is the hardware shell — calibration runs are driven by a compatible Autel MaxiSYS tablet running the ADAS application. The MA600 is engineered to work with the following tablets:

  • MSADAS — runs the ADAS application natively, no software upgrade needed
  • MS906BT, MS906TS, MS908, MS908P, MS908S, MS908SP, MSELITE — require a one-time ADAS application software upgrade, sold separately

Tablets that already have an active ADAS application from a prior frame purchase are not compatible with the MA600 — the ADAS application is tied to a single frame at activation.

Out of the box, the MA600 supports LDW, the five-line laser alignment workflow, and the included digital tape measure. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Around-View Monitoring (AVM), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Night Vision (NVS), and PowerLift functions are not enabled at this tier and require the corresponding Autel expansion packages (MA600RAD1 for radar, ADASAVM1 for AVM, MA600NV1 for night vision, and so on — see the Documents section for each expansion package data sheet).

FAQ

-

Is a tablet included with the MA600?

No. The MA600 is the calibration frame and accessory kit. A compatible Autel MaxiSYS tablet (MSADAS, MS906BT, MS906TS, MS908, MS908P, MS908S, MS908SP, or MSELITE) is required and sold separately. All tablets except MSADAS also need a one-time ADAS application software upgrade.

Which calibrations does the MA600 perform out of the box?

The MA600 supports Lane Departure Warning (LDW) calibration as its base function, using the included LDW target set. ACC, AVM, RCW, BSD, and NVS calibrations require corresponding Autel expansion packages (MA600RAD1, ADASAVM1, MA600NV1, MA600LDW3, and others) sold separately.

Can I upgrade the MA600 later to add ACC or AVM calibration?

Yes. Autel publishes expansion packages that add radar, AVM (around-view monitoring), night vision, and other ADAS calibration capabilities to an existing MA600 frame. Each expansion package includes the additional targets and software entitlements needed for that calibration type. See the Documents section for the data sheet on each expansion package.

How portable is the MA600 in practice?

The frame breaks into two shipping cases — the wheeled base at 53.6 lb net and the main column + crossbar at 47.2 lb net — for a 100.8-lb total net weight. The collapsible aluminum design is engineered for a single technician to transport between locations, which is the use case for glass shops and mobile ADAS service.

Does training come with the MA600?

Yes. A virtual setup and onboarding training session conducted by an Autel ADAS expert is included with every MA600 purchase. In-shop training is not part of the standard package.

What certifications does the MA600 carry?

CE, FCC, and RoHS. The lasers are rated Class 2.
