Description
-The Atlas RJ8A is an 8,000-lb capacity air/hydraulic rolling bridge jack built to mount between the runways of a four-post or scissor lift, so you can lift the wheels off the ramps for tire, brake, suspension, and driveline work. Telescoping arms extend over the runways, expandable rail supports adjust from 36 inches to 56 1/2 inches to fit a wide range of lift styles, and a unique roller system lets the jack glide along the full length of the vehicle.
Power is air-over-hydraulic on shop air between 70 and 115 PSI (external air supply required, not included). The scissor mechanism keeps the lift pads level as they rise, and multiple solid safety lock positions let you set the vehicle and bleed off hydraulic pressure — the locks then carry the load the same way a pair of jack stands would. The Atlas RJ8A ships with a 4-piece peg-style truck adapter set (two each at 2.5 inches and 5 inches) so the jack reaches the lift points on pickups and larger trucks that sit higher than the average passenger car.
The frame is finished in powder coat for shop-environment durability. The RJ8A is backed by a 1-year parts warranty.
Features
-- 8,000-lb maximum lifting capacity
- Air/hydraulic operation on 70–115 PSI shop air (external air supply required, not included)
- Telescoping arms extend over four-post and scissor lift runways
- Expandable rail supports adjust from 36 inches to 56 1/2 inches to fit a wide range of lift styles and brands
- Unique roller system glides the jack along the entire length of the vehicle
- Scissor mechanism keeps lifting pads level through the stroke
- Multiple solid safety lock positions; once engaged, hydraulic pressure is relieved so the locks carry the load like jack stands
- 4-piece peg-style truck adapter set included (two each at 2.5 inches and 5 inches)
- Adapter peg / arm hole size: 1.5 inches
- Compact, low-profile design for easy positioning and storage
- Powder-coated finish
Compatibility
-The Atlas RJ8A is designed to bridge the runways of four-post and scissor lifts. Expandable rail supports adjust from 36 inches to 56 1/2 inches, which covers most common runway spacings across multiple lift styles and brands. The included 4-piece truck adapter set increases lift-pad height for pickups and larger trucks that sit higher than the average passenger car.
Confirm your lift's runway-to-runway spacing falls inside the 36–56 1/2 inch range before ordering.

FAQ
-What kinds of lifts does the RJ8A fit?
The RJ8A is built to bridge the runways of four-post and scissor lifts. Expandable rail supports adjust between 36 inches and 56 1/2 inches, which fits a wide range of common runway spacings across multiple lift styles and brands.
What air pressure does it need?
Delivered shop air between 70 and 115 PSI. Air supply is not included — an external compressor or shop air line is required. Exceeding 115 PSI can damage the jack.
Why does the truck adapter set matter?
Pickups, SUVs, and larger trucks sit higher than the average passenger car. The 4-piece peg-style adapter set (two 2.5-inch, two 5-inch) raises the lift pads to reach factory lifting points on those vehicles without forcing the jack to its maximum stroke.
How do the safety locks work?
Once a solid safety lock position is engaged, hydraulic pressure in the lifting cylinder is relieved and the locks carry the vehicle's weight — the same principle as setting a load on jack stands. There are multiple lock positions so you can match the lock height to the work you're doing.
