The Atlas Platinum PWB70 is a motorized, computer-controlled spin wheel balancer built for tire shops and service bays running steady passenger and light-truck volume. Italian-engineered components drive a 7-second cycle with 1-gram accuracy and 1.4° weight-position resolution; the upgrades over the prior PWB50 are concentrated where they matter day-to-day — a brighter LED light inside the wheel, a laser line that marks the exact 12-o'clock weight position, a larger weight tray, and an oversized hood that clears wider assemblies.
An automatic 2D data-entry gauge captures rim diameter and offset in a single pass; the operator doesn't keypunch values. Static, dynamic, ALU, and ALU-S modes cover steel and alloy wheels, and OPTIMATCH handles match-mounting for assemblies that won't balance to spec on the first cycle. The Fast & Easy Split (FES) function hides adhesive weights behind alloy spokes, and the Opposite Weight Function (OWF) swings the application position from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock for shops where the back of the wheel is easier to reach than the front.
An electric brake with a smart-approach feature parks the wheel at the correct weight position so the operator isn't hunting for it. Automatic start/stop ties cycle initiation to the hood, the unit self-diagnoses and self-calibrates, and a USB hub on the cabinet handles firmware updates from a notebook PC. No anchor-down installation is required — the PWB70 sits on its footprint and is ready to balance.
The PWB70 ships with a plastic quick-release nut, four centering cones, wheel-weight pliers, and measuring calipers. Power is 110V single-phase. Warranty is 2 years parts only.
