What is a Scissor Lift for Cars?

This hydraulic platform raises a vehicle vertically using a cross-braced “scissor” mechanism. It’s ideal for quick maintenance, tire work, or maximizing space in smaller garages. 

Can I Use a Scissor Jack to Lift My Car?

A scissor jack is not the same as a scissor lift. Scissor jacks are meant for emergency tire changes, not regular service. Always use a proper car scissor lift for garage work.

Are Vehicle Scissor Lifts Safe?

Do Scissor Lifts Need to Be Bolted Down?
